Understand that God has a plan for you

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. - Jeremiah 29:11

Understand that God has a plan for you when you go through every step of your life. Sometime, if, God allows something in your life, it may look bad or good in your eyes. But be sure that God has purpose for these things to happen in your life. It may be due to your present situation, you will feel that everything is lost from your hand. But, keep in mind, even this thing it is God who allowed according to His plan. After few days you will understand that whatever God allowed are for good and you will praise the Lord! Then you will understand that you are growing in spiritual life. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” - Romans 8:28. God had big plan for Joseph, and God revealed His plan to him through dream. Joseph was very happy and told his father and brothers. Joseph thought that they will all be happy with him. But it was not so. “And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.” - Genesis 37:10-11. Is this what happening in your life?

When Joseph understood that God is going to flourish him, he was hated by everyone. In his life everything was happening opposite to what he was dreaming. If you view in another angle, you will see that everything in Joseph’s life were happening against God’s plan. He was thrown into a pit. “And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him; And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.” - Genesis 37:23-24. Then he was sold. “Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.” – Genesis 37:28. Joseph was poisoned for no fault of him. “And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.” - Genesis 39:20. Joseph would have asked like you during every difficult situation that he passed through. But later he understood that everything was according to God’s plan. “Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.” - Genesis 45:5-8. Likewise, same as Joseph, God’s plan will definitely happen and nobody can stop it.

Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. - Jeremiah1:12
