He has delivered us from the domain of darkness

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: - Colossians 1:13

Lord God has delivered you from the power of darkness. That means Satan who is the ruler of darkness has no authority on you. But these days many believers are afraid of the power of darkness. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.(2Cor 2:11) Dear beloved, as believers we have no need to be afraid of the devil, although we should be awake and on guard against his plans. Bible always teaches us to resist Satan. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.(James 4:7) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.(2Pet 5:8-9) Satan never comes against God’s people directly. If he does so, he will never win. So in order to overcome you he chooses an easy way, that weapon is deceive. Yes Satan is working these days in many people life by deceiving. The serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.(Gen 3:1) It always deceives. In the beginning it deceives Eve in the garden of Eden. Even today he does the same. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2Cor 11:3)

If you do not know the truth that the devil will take advantage of you and start his work in you and deceive you, then the only way to know the truth is to read, understand, and walk according to the Scriptures. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.(James 1:22) When Jesus was in this world He only taught the scripture he did as the scripture says. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: (Acts 1:1-2) As he walked according to the word of God, that his Father had pleased on Him, He never did sin, He overccme Satan through the word of God. When you read the word of God and act on the Scriptures then you will see the changes in your life. As you are not doing so, in all your difficulties and whenever you are facing problems you are not able to overcome Satan through the word of God and so you are deceived. Satan could not overcome Jesus through his tricks, but Jesus Christ over came Satan through the scriptures. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.(Mat 4:10-11) Like Jesus you also overcome Satan through the word of God.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalms 23:4
