The United Nations is providing emergency food relief for 3.5 million people in North Korea who are at risk of acute malnutrition and starvation. "Everyone should remember who is responsible for the plight of the North Korean people," one western government stated, "and that is the North Korean government itself."
Pray for the salvation of key leaders in North Korea – especially Kim Jong-Il and his sons.
Ask the Lord to speak to the heart of those in positions of power and give them a heart for the people.
Pray for food to reach all those who are in need.
Ask the Lord to open the door for Christian humanitarian organizations to provide aid and to proclaim the Gospel.
Pray for the Light of Christ to penetrate the oppressive political and spiritual darkness in North Korea.
Pray for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Psalm 74:21)
