The LORD makes his face shine upon you

By the grace of God we are entering new month. In this new month our Lord God is giving Numbers 6:25 as promise. The LORD makes his face shine upon you. The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee - Numbers 6:25.

The face of the Lord shines for ever. Every one who looks upon him will experience it. And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.(Mat 17:2). And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.(Rev 1:16). When you look upon his face you will also shine. In the Mount Sinai Moses look upon Him and his face also shine. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.(Exo 34:30). They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.(Ps 34:5).

When Jacob came to know about his brother Esau plan to kill him. Jacob went to his uncle Laban’s house and he stayed there. Few years passed. Jacob came back to his brother Esau place. As Jacob had fear about his brother, to protect him from his brother he came to the presence of God and he prayed in the banks of the river Jabbok. After the prayer Jacob says he has seen God face to face. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.(Gen 32:30) Here Jacob seen Him face to face and blessed with the shine from the face of God and received blessings. In this incident Jacob tells about the blessing he received from Lord’s shining face. Jacob takes gifts with him when he meets Esau. And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.(Gen 33:9-10). Beloved, when Jacob he is saying I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God. Before this incident Jacob seen the Lord face to face and he was blessed. To denote the same blessing when he seen the Lord face to face, here also he says this word, saying I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God.

Here Jacob received two blessing through the shinning for the face of the Lord. One is the grace. As Jacob received the grace of Lord he says for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. Today Lord faces his shine upon you and you will receive his grace. In this world you must need the grace of God and grace from man. When Jesus lived in this world he increased in the grace of God and man. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.(Luke 2:52). You are waiting for the grace of God and favor of man for so many things. Today looks up to the face of God. You will receive favor and grace form the face of Lord that shines on you. You will receive favor in your working place. You will receive favor regarding your job. You will receive favour from everyone’s eyes and where ever you go.

The second blessing you receive when the Lord shine his face upon you, is the Lord will pleased on you. So Jacob says this words to Esau, thou wast pleased with me. When your life was pleased in the sight of God then your enemies will agree with you in peace. When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.(Pro 16:7). Is anyone raising a crowd against you and doing evil counsel against you? As the face of the Lord is shine upon you, you will see they will please on you. But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.(Isa 43:1-4).

You will lead to the life of holiness when the face of the Lord shines upon you. Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. (Ps 90:8). Lord only knows all your secrets. Everything is naked before him. David thinks none knows about his sin. Lord reveals the sin of David through the prophet Nathan and he repent and confess his sin. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.(Ps 51:4). Examine your life. Are you in the bondage of secret sins? Look upon him confess your sins in His presence and cleaned by spirit of God. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.(2Chro 7:14).

When you the face of the Lord shines on you then you will lead by Him and walk according to His will. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.(Ps 119:135) Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.(Ps 89:15). You need the guidance of God in your daily life. Most of times you are confused what do? When to do? How to do? And you are facing failure. Today look un to His face. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.(Ps 32:8). When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.(Ps 27:8).

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.(Ps 80:3). When the Lord shine his face on you then you will saved. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.(Isa 45:22). Beloved according to this month promise Lord God will shine his face on you. You will receive favor from the sight of God and man. You will live the life that pleased God. You will set free form the sins and grow in the holiness life. Lord God will guide you and you will do His will and you will become conquers. Only look upon him. God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us;(Ps 67:1)

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
