“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” God’s word says whatever the difficult situation you go through, all your present sufferings will leave you soon.
Whenever you face, troubles, sufferings and deficiency, Satan is very happy. He will get victory over you because, you become discouraged, because you think that there is no end and this will go on continuing. Satan makes you to become discouraged by speaking through your problems. He always shows you the circumstances and makes you feel that you cannot move forward in your life like others. If you or anyone in your family falls sick, he will conceal the fact that God can cure you! He will show you those who died because the sickness, and make you think that the same will happen to you also. When you are in financial need, he will show you that you can never come out of your debts. If you don’t have children after many years of married life, he will show you the married couples who have children soon after their marriage and will tell you will never be like them in your life. He will give a negative hope behind your each and every problem.
Under these circumstances you will become discouraged and will doubt God whether He will bless you. Your faith on God will become less. All what is seen is shown by Satan. The God whom you worship is the God who changes all these things. He says that these things are easy things to change. Dear beloved people, this is the time God is going to full fill His blessings and promises. Do not listen to Satan’s suggestions and circumstances. Listen to God’s word and depend on Him. The situation will definitely change. “And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the wate. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.” – Mathew 14:22-32.
Here seeing Jesus walking on the sea disciples got panic and shouted thinking it is a ghost. Peter also wanted to walk on the sea. He requested Jesus to allow him also to walk on the sea believing on faith with Jesus. He walked on the water, but when big wave come his faith on Jesus diminished and started sinking. When peter totally had belief on Jesus he never even noticed the high wave behind him. But when his concentration on belief of God’s promise he noticed the big wave and started sinking. This reflects the truth that the big wave was the problem for him. But God immediate stretched His hand and solved his problem. The big wave calmed down as soon as they got into the boat.
Yes, beloved people, God speaks to you during your trouble. By His promises, he is strengthening you to continue and face the problems. Do not be like Peter and lose your faith. Se strong in faith and get the blessings of God.
