Trust the LORD will find new strength

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. – Heb 11:34

God today promises that He blesses you, He ascertains that He will defiantly bless you. And it gladdens our heart to know that God is blessing us. But your present circumstances may force you to doubt this promised blessing of God. Because you feel there are no possibilities or ways to meet your demands. Your present crisis may be with you for the last few days or for the last many years. Today God prophecies, that He will definitely bless you. God gave Abraham this definitive promise. God gives you the same promise today also. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.(Gen 22:17-18). There fore you do not despair. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.(Pro 23:18). The bles sings that which God gave to Abraham, He gave them as gifts of mercies to David. God does not look at your circumstances; He showers to you the same mercies which He to David as gifts. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.(Isa 55:3).

Abraham did not receive God’s blessing immediately. He had to wait patiently. Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.(Heb 6:14-15). You are always expecting things to happen according to your time table and plan. You also expect God to bless you accordingly. But God will give you at his appointed time. You have to be patient to receive it. Consider the life of Job. Meditate the hardships he undergone in his life. He lost his wealth, he lost his children, and his body was covered with sores and his wife hated him. But Job confidently waited for God’s blessings. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.(James 5:11). When God saw Job’s patience, He blessed him more that his former status. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.(Job 42:12). Trust in God with patience He will fulfill His promise. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?(Mat 7:11).

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. - Heb 6:11-12
