In this world, you may hear things that sound very Powerful. But The power of the Lord is greater than everything. “Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him”? (Job 36:22). “O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? (Ps 89:8). Dear beloved, with God all things are possible. Your problems and sufferings are powerful before you. But Know that your Lord God is Almighty and your problems and sufferings are nothing before Him.
The Lord God is the Almighty in fulfilling that he promised you. The Lord showers his blessings by giving His promises. Years might have passed and still the Promises might have been not fulfilled. Know that surely The Lord God will perform what he promised. “For all the promises of God in him is yea, and in him Amen. Amen is his name. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” (Rev 3:14). “The Lord God will never delay his promise. It is due to your disobedience, there is an inordinate delay in recieving your promise. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”. (2Pet 3:9). You must believe God is faithful in granting his promise and you must be patient in receiving it. “Through faith also Sara received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised”. (Heb 11:11).
The Lord reveals to Abram as the Almighty God. When God appeared to him as the Almighty God, Abram was ninety nine years old. When Abram was ninety nine years God blessed him as a father of many nations and GOD commanded “neither shall his name any more be called Abram, but his name shall be Abraham”. “And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God”. (Gen 17:6-8). To perform the promise in the life of Abraham, Lord gave him a command. Yes, “Abraham must walk perfect before him”. (Gen 17:1).
To perform the promise in your life, The Lord is expecting you to be perfect . “Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God”. (Deut 18:13). When you walk perfect in the sight of God, then the Lord God empowers you with his might in your life. When you walk perfect in the sight of God, you will see the power of God manifest in every part of your life. The people surrounding you will see the God’s power in you. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars”. (2Chro 16:9). Abraham obeys the voice of God and follows Lord God with empty hand. He walked perfect before God, The Lord multiplied Abraham as he promised.
Walk Perfect means implicit obedience to God’s commands and voice. The Bible says that David was perfect in the sight of the Lord. “And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments”, (1Kings 9:4). The Lord anointed Saul as king of Israel but Saul did not walk perfect and did not obey God and so he lost God’s anointing and Kingdom .David walked perfectly and obeyed his commands and David was anointed as king. And Samuel said unto him, “The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou”. (1Sam 15:28). In the same way Vashti lost the royal estate because of her disobedience. Esther received her royal estate for she walked perfect. “If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she”. (Esther 1:19). Like Abraham, David and Esther obeyed and walk perfect in the sight of The Lord. The Almighty God performed what he promised.
Once Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits, and that at what time they hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, they fell down and worshiped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king set up. “ And whoso fallen not down and worship shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace”. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were brought to the king for not worshiping the image. “Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king”. (Dan 3:15-17).
Dear beloved, Is your life passing through fire?. And Do your sufferings consume you like Fire? Do not Fear. The Lord God has promised that when you walk through fire you will not be consumed; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. The Almighty Lord is with you as he was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He will surely deliver you from the fire. Jacob called upon The Lord to deliver him from his brother Esau’s hand. God delivered Jacob. “ Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children”. (Gen 32:11). The People of Israel cried upon God to deliver them from the hand of The Egyptians. Lord delivered them. “And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians”. (Exo 18:10). The Lord delivered David from the hands of a Lion and a Bear. David said moreover, “The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee” (1Sam 17:37). The same Almighty God will deliver you from your troubles and sufferings.
These days there is no love amongst each other in this world. So people even rise against God’s children and make false statements against them. “Fear not and call upon him you will deliver from their hands. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name”.(Ps 91:15). “Another reason for Lord delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was they did not defile themselves with the portion of the king's meat, or with the wine which he drank”. (dan 1:11-15). “They lived righteous and holy before God. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all”. (Ps 34:19). When you live a righteous life The Lord will deliver you.
Dear beloved, believe the promise that The Lord has given you this month and inherit it. Every day you will see the promise of God fulfilling your daily life. “Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds”.(Ps 68:34) May The Lord bless everyone of you according to His promise. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
