Every one who lives in this world wish to lead a happy life. Anybody can enjoy happiness in two ways. One the happiness given by God that is the permanent happiness. And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.(Isa 35:10). The other happiness is the worldly happiness which is temporary in nature and related to sin. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;(Heb 11:24-26). God wants you to be filled up with the gladness that He gives. This gladness can never separate from you by any force. The day you accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour in your life, you are filled with the heavenly gladness. Because when one sinner repents and turn to God the heavens are filled with happiness. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.(Lk 15:7). Satan always uses deceive you to steal the happiness which God has gives to you from you. Therefore when you face with financial problems, loans, family disturbances and serious calamities you loose your compose and also loose the happiness which God has given to you. Beloved, to be happy in the midst of trials and tribulation is what God given happiness. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.(Hab 3:17-18). Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.(Phil 4:4).
You are happy when things go well and you are well settled in your life. But soon as you faced with losses, tribulations and circumstances which go against your plan you are not able to lead a peaceful life. But Habakkuk said, . Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; Yet I will rejoice in the LORD. Beloved, when your faith decreases your happiness also decreases. You know why? As your faith decreases your worldly pressures and sorrows increases. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.(Rom 15:13). Abraham patiently waited with faith for the fulfill wealth of God’s promise. Because he was firm in faith he did not doubt nor had any unbelief in the promise of God. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.(Rom 4:18-21). Today search yourself about your faith? Do you have full faith in God like Abraham? There fore you are not able to wait patiently like him. You have your own doubts about your plans being materialize. You are afraid of your day to day life. Therefore you are not able to rejoice in Christ. Today itself strengthen your faith and remain happy in Christ.
But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. - Ps 68:3
