Why are you frightened

And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? - Mark 4:40

In this incident Jesus Christ took his disciples with him in a boat.   And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.    And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.    And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.    And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?(Mark 4:35-38)  Here disciples asking Jesus, carest thou not that we perish?  In the same way in your life also many time you ask the question whether God cares for you?  When the problems and difficulties rising more, day by day, you are saying whether God cares for you, if God loves me why I am not getting deliverance from my situation.   Some time, when problems increase more, you are also trusting God more and praying often.  But why you are sinking in your problems?  Here when disciples were traveling on boat there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was full with water.  This signifies how your problems are getting worst.  In this situation you have to know that Jesus was also in the same boat in that same situation.  As the disciples feared about the great storm of wind and waves they forgot that they were having Jesus who has authority over the storms and waves.  Today feel Jesus is with you in all your difficulties and problems. 

Even Jesus was with them they feared that they are going to sink.  Jesus rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.    And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?(Mark 4:39-10)  Meditate why Jesus is rebuking his disciples saying, why are you afraid?  Don’t you have any faith?  Why Jesus did not care about them and He simply , asleep on a pillow in the hinder part of the ship?  Consider, why Jesus was quite till the disciples woke  Him saying we are about to die?  The reason is, Jesus was expecting His disciples to exercise authority over the storm and command the storm and waves.  Jesus is expecting the same things in your life also.  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.(Luke 10:19)  God has already given you the authority.  Don’t afraid of anything.  God has confidence on you. He desires for you to grow up, to learn to take responsibility, and to exercise the authority He has given you. Without knowing the God’s delay in your situation, don’t murmur God.  In faith use the authority that God has given you and command peace on your situation.  You will the problems will disappear immediately. 

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. - John 14:12
