Psalms 138 : 6
Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off
The Lord is lifted up and we are not.
Those who humble themselves they think little of themselves he thinks much of them.
We
must humble ourselves before Him, and when we do He reaches down to you
and me and pulls us out of the difficulties we are in. His arm is
extended to those who humble themselves , but not all will reach out to
Him to be rescued from death and destruction. But before we reach out we
must realize that we can't get out on our own, and as we cry out to
Him, and humble ourselves He will rescue us.
The proud are in trouble because God will bring them down.
who
are proud of themselves and what they have; of their wisdom and
knowledge, of their strength or beauty, of their wealth and riches; or
of their righteousness and holiness; of the purity and goodness of their
hearts, and power of their free will, and despise others below them in
these things, or the practice of them: these the Lord takes notice of,
and looks upon them at a distance
So let’s try to humble our self in all things and in all situations
