SYRIA, MIDDLE EAST

The southern city of Dara'a is being called a "flashpoint" in the conflict between security forces and protesters. Water, power, and telephone lines have been cut and military forces have raided homes, arresting human-rights activists.

Pray for the Lord to bring forth His will in Syria.

Pray for an end to oppression and abuse of power.

Ask the Lord to strengthen, encourage and protect Christians, empowering them to share their faith with boldness.

Pray for this time of unrest to become an opportunity for the Gospel to be proclaimed and for multitudes of Syrians to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:17)
