Lord surround them with your favor

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - Psalms 5:12

The word of God says God will bless the righteous with favour as with a shield. Favour is the grace that we received from God. Today God is willing to bless you with his favour as shield. This blessing is for the righteous people. You are the children of God and you are righteous in Christ. Once you are dead in trespasses and sins, how can you be righteous in Christ? But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.(1Cor 1:30-31) For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.(Rom 5:17) You are righteous through the blood that shed by Jesus on the cross. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.(Rom 5:9) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.(Rom 8:30) The word of God says, there is no one righteous. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Rom 3:24)

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.(2Sam 22:36) When the favour of God shields you, you are made great. In the life of David he faces so many obstacles. When the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies and out of the hand of Saul, David says that gentleness hath made him great. When the favour of God surrounds you, you will receive grace from the sight of man. Today Lord has delivered you from all the obstacles in your working place that stops your growth. Due to some problems, you put to be ashamed, the favour of God is surrounded you and you are going to lift up in the midst of the people who laughed at you. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.(2Pet 1:3-4) When the favour of God surrounds you, then you will grow in the love of God and put on His divine nature and you will lead a holy life. The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.(Jer 31:3)

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. – 1Peter 3:12
