According to opposition parties in Eritrea, the government is guilty of serious human rights violations and oppression involving false imprisonment, torture and executions. Opposition leaders also fear that Eritrea is on the brink of becoming a failed state, like its neighbor Somalia.
Pray for corruption in the government to be exposed and for attempts by leaders to manipulate and control the people to be dealt with.
Pray for the salvation of President Isaias Afwerki.
Ask the Lord to move powerfully in Eritrea.
Pray for the safety of Christians in this nation and for the Lord to give those in prison courage and the strength to endure.
Pray for the Kingdom of God to come to Eritrea and for a tremendous harvest of souls. (Joshua 1:7)
