Drug trafficking has become a serious problem in Benin. According to one source, "West Africa is slowly transforming itself into the new world center for South American narco-traffickers." Among the "most significant intermediary countries" is Benin. Bribery is reportedly used to ensure the cooperation of security forces.
Pray for this corruption to be rooted out.
Pray for the arrest and prosecution of all those involved in trafficking drugs.
Ask the Lord to send faithful workers who will preach the Gospel to the people of Benin.
Pray for their hearts and minds to be responsive and for multitudes to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Isaiah 1:4)
