Although pro-democracy protests forced President Ben Ali to step down, demonstrators are still not satisfied. Seven months after they began, protesters continue to take to the streets, many of them frustrated by the lack of progress and reforms. In July 2011, a fourteen-year-old boy was killed as police tried to break up a demonstration.
Pray for the dissatisfied people of Tunisia to cry out to the Lord for lasting peace.
Ask the Lord to move powerfully and sovereignly in this nation, accomplishing His plans and purposes.
Pray for corruption to be rooted out of the government and for the needs of the people to be met.
Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Islam in this nation.
Pray for multitudes of men, women, and children in Tunisia to be set free from the bondage and drawn into relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Psalm 28:4)
