You will know the truth

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” - John 8:31-32

Many of God’s children, today, need to be free from the clutches of Satan. God’s plan is to free you from all that. In the above verse, Jesus says that if you remain in His Word, you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. Remaining in His word not for only one day, but every day. When you remain in His word, you will understand truth. What is truth? God’s word explains that. His words are truth. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:17). You will be free definitely when you remain on His word. If anyone is asked whether he read the Bible today, he will say ‘yes’. But, by reading the Bible every day, you cannot remain on His word. Only when you become doers of the words, you can remain on His words. You have to remain on His words, just like the way how the branches of the vine clings on the vine. “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5).

God says that you will be fruitful if you remain on Me. Your fruitful testimony will reveal that you are leading a true life. “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” (1 John 1:3-4). As you didn’t know anything about truth before, your life exposed Satan’s actions. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). Now with His words of truth, He has given us rebirth. “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.” (James 1:18). In these final days God’s words warn us saying that the people will the truths and will be against it. “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (2 Timothy 4:4). “Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.” - 2 Timothy 3:8. “This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.” (Titus 1:13-14). Dear people, remain in God’s words and followHis words in your life and you will give good witness to others.

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” - Acts 20:32
