The African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM) says it will be launching a "heavy war" against terrorist group al-Shabaab in the capital city of Mogadishu. The AMISOM says they already control large parts of the capital and will soon have the entire city under control.
Pray for this ambitious campaign to be successful in driving al-Shabaab from this region.
Pray for them to be defeated, scattered, and find no place to hide.
Ask the Lord to move powerfully in this war-weary nation.
Pray for the government to be established and for the people to be kept safe from intimidation and violence.
Pray for the Gospel to be preached in Somalia and for men, women and children to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
