Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. – Joel 2:21
The Lord is going to do great things in your life.If you like to receive great things from the Lord then you must be aware that the Lord who is going to do great things in your life is even greater. “Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.” (2Sam 7:22) Our God is great. “Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.” (Exo 18:11) When Apostle John writes about this He says, he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1Jn 4:4) when he says that God is great, he mentions of the greater God present in you. Yes Dear beloved, the God who is in you is great, but you are living without knowing or realizing it. So your affliction, sufferings and problems look magnified in your sight without realizing how great our God is. He is greater than the devil,He is greater than everything that you are facing in life. If you know the God who dwells in you is greater then everything it becomes easier for you to understand and walk in his ways. Yes He dwells in you as Holy Spirit. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” (2Cor 6:14-17)
How do you view the incidents occurring in your daily life? When the people of Israel were sent as spies to the land of Canaan, expect Joshua and Caleb others saw the cannanites as great people than them. They forget the great God who leads them mighty way in the wilderness. “ And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” (Num 13:27-33) In the same way we also do not realize about the greatness of our God, we fail to glorify him, we fall prey to the tricks of Satan and we speak more about demons and satanic works. As God is dwells in you as the mighty Holy Spirit you certainly would be able to overcome all satanic forces and tricks. You will overcome the dire situations and problems faced by your family. Dear beloved, visualize your God as a great mighty miracle working God and always pray that he lifts you up. Then you will witness the great presence , miracles and the dwelling of the holy spirit of the greatest powerful God in your life.
Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. - Jeremiah 10:6
