O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. – Ps 136:1
Give thanks to the Lord all the time and then you will taste the grace of the Lord for his grace endures forever. Whenever you are defeated in life you say that that the grace of God is absent in your life. Beloved,Our Lord never takes His grace from you. His grace is with you all times. “For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee”.(Isa 54:10). “Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me”.(Ps 66:20). “To receive the grace of God David appointed priest and Levites to praise and sing unto the Lord. And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood”.(2Chro 7:6) The Lord promised David that he will not take his grace away from him. “I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore”.(2Chro 17:13-14). King Solomon dedicated the House of the Lord, and appointed Priests and Levites to praise and sing unto the Lord. When they gave thanks to the Lord by singing and giving glory the House of the Lord was filled with the glory of the Lord. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God”.(2Chro 5:13-14).
You have received His grace, now you have to grow in His grace. The grace of God should increase in your life. Today The Lord is helping and filling you with more grace. “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble”.(James 4:6). Be humble in your spirit with the and the Lord God will lift you he will give you more grace. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2Cor 9:8). When we are pray we make petitions to the Lord. Even before the petition comes from your mouth Jesus knows all your needs. So even before starting your work start giving thanks to the Lord and praise His name and sing unto the Lord. Whatever you receive from Him give thanks to unto Jesus. Give praise to His name for all things. “For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God”.(2Cor 4:15). David gives praise to the Lord all times and continually. “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth”.(Ps 34:1). Job gives thanks to the Lord in good and evil and grew in the grace of God. And said, “Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD”.(Job 1:21).
“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee” - Num 6:24-25
