The joy of the Lord is your strength

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. – Hebrews 11:34

The word of God says, the Old Testament saints although they were weak, they were given the strength and power. Our Lord is the Lord who strengthens us in our weakness. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. (Isa 40:29) What they did when they recovered strength from weakness. They became powerful in war. They conquered kingdoms. They walked in righteousness. They received promises. In so many things you believe about yourself that you are weakness. It’s true but you forgot one thing to remember that you are having the Lord who can strengthen you in your weakness. Jesus Christ already bared your weakness on the cross. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.(Mat 8:17) Today you are going to receive the strength of the Lord and you are going to see mighty things and you will glorify Lord. The word of God says, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.(Phil 4;13) As you are thinking about worldly and fleshy things, you are not able to receive the strength of the Lord in your weakness. Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.(Mark 14:38) Today our Lord is taking all the fleshy and weak things in you and strengthening you in your weakness. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.(Rom 8:26).

Here after don’t say, I am weak, today receive the strength of the Lord. These days many are get weary in their difficulties and trails, so they lose their strength. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.(Pro 24:10) Once David and his men go for war, at that time Amalekites taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. When David and his men came to the city, they seen it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. In those times of sufferings, David lost his strength and he received strength when he comes to the presence of God. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.(1Sam 30:6) In your life also, in all your situation and ever in the situation every one leaves you, believe in the Lord who strengthen you. The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.(Ps 29:11) Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.(Neh 8:10)

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31
