Jesus answers

For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? - Deut 4:7

Our God is near to us. That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us(Acts 17:27). Nowadays the children of God do not feel that the Lord is near to them. Some people assume that the Lord is in the high places and He will not listen to my prayers. Yet another group presumes that they are sinners so the Lord will never come near to them. Others consider themselves to be virtually humble, sinners and worthless dusts. This way they believe that their prayers will not reach in God’s presence and become weary. Few others feel that God is closer with only renowned God’s servant and far away for the people like us. There fore when they meet with huddles and minor problems they write to these popular ministers to pray for them. They don’t bend their knees and pray to God with burden. Because of this wrong notion they inadvertently go away from God. Beloved, God is always near to you and He always listening to your prayers. He comes closer to us, and He intercedes for us, He fights for us and He does every thing for us. When we join together and pray in His holy name we can feel His presence. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.(Mat 18:20). When Paul and Silas were in prison there hands and feet being tied, yet they were, in the middle of night praying and praising God. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.(Acts 16:25). God came close to them and shook the prison and release them. The same God comes closer to you to release you from your burden. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: (Isa 55:6). The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.(Ps 145:18).

God is always nearer to us. We only leave him and go far away from Him. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.(Eph 2:13). The word of God tells us how we keep ourselves away from Him. Yes, only our sins keep us at a distance from God. We disobeyed God and yielded to the pleasures of flesh and mind and moved away from God. The love of the world caused us to go against God. Many occasions due to our pride we distance ourselves from God. But God wills that we should be always close to Him. Because of that only He created man in His own image. But man committed sin and left God. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.(Isa 59:2). Due to sin we have moved away from God but to bring us close to Him once again He came to the world in the image of man. He suffered for our sake. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.(Isa 53:5). He shed his blood for our sake. He washed our inequities by His blood and cleansed us so that we can go closer to God. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.(Rev 1:5-6).

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Ps 34:18
