Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. - Ps 121:4
The word of God says, the protector of Israel doesn't doze or ever get drowsy. This shows the God’s love upon you. When God led Israel people in the wilderness, Pharaoh chased them. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon. And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.(Exo 14:8-10) The Lord guard Israel people with out rests and sleeps. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.(Exo 14:21) This shows how our God works for the Israel people. The red sea is before the Israel people. Pharaoh and his armies are chasing them behind. At this time Lord sent a strong east wind that blew all night made the sea go back all night, and the waters were parted in two and the sea became dry land. Whenever you are not receiving answers to your prayers, you are saying Lord did not work for your problems. Most of the times you are forgetting Lord is working for you all night. As you are the children of God you should not fear about darkness. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.(Ps 91:5-6) The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.(Ps 121:6)
Lord will never leave you alone. You are having the Lord who guards you in the night without rest and sleep. Job is comparing his suffering situation with darkness. My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death; (Job 16:16) When David saying about the suffering he gone through is like valley shadow of death. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (Ps 23:4) Sometimes your situation may be like darkness. In most of your life, you may see hindrance of enemies and you can’t able to go forward. You may face continue debt problems, family problems. All the problems are like you are in darkness. Today Lord is going to do a miracle. You will not be troubled. He will deliver you. He is not only the Lord works for you all the night, He is the Lord interceding for you all the night. When Jesus Christ was in this world he prayed all the night. And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.(Luke 6:12). Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.(Rom 8:26)
There shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. - Rev 22:5
